Senior Unity Engineer

Freestyle is revolutionizing the world of water workouts by turning any pool into an immersive and interactive world where the swimmer is the game controller to help them train, rehabilitate, be coached and be well! Just imagine racing sharks, punching octopuses, gathering stats and improving technique along the way.  

 

We have developed our own pool that integrates with our custom computer vision and Unity game system. Currently we have an R&D Austin based headquarters, where we have several pools running our tech. We launch later this year with the lead global manufacturer of swim spas (treadmills for water).

As a Senior Unity Engineer, you’ll be working directly with our founder and with our team of game developers, hardware engineers, designers, AR creators, and backend system experts to create unprecedented gameplay experiences. You’ll be able to enjoy working on implementing new game features, re-architecting old ones, and deploying updates to our members.

We Are Looking For An Expert-Level Unity Game Developer:

• 5+ years of engineering experience working on games

• 5+ years of Unity experience

• C# expertise

• A love of video games of all types

• A passion for health and fitness and an understanding of how difficult it can be for the average person to adhere to a traditional workout program

 

Bonus (But Not Required) Skills:

• Experience with augmented reality development

• Experience working with AAA game development teams, but ready to contribute to a smaller team

• Experience developing iOS and Android games and apps

• Experience with SteamVR

• Experience with Amazon Web Services

• Experience with client-side web development
